Angelica Zaid, M.D.

Dr. Zaid's exploration in good health and nutrition was initially driven by
requests from family and friends who often come to her seeking solutions to
troubling ailments.

Throughout her undergraduate experience at U.C.L.A. and Medical School
training at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Zaid studied alternative
approaches to treating health issues while obtaining traditional medical research
and clinical experience. She received numerous honors and awards at U.C.S.D.
Medical School, including the Joseph Stokes Award for her research on factors
affecting access to prenatal care.

After graduating Medical School, Dr. Zaid accepted a Medical Residency position
in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the presitigious Phoenix Integrated Residency
Program in Phoenix, Arizona. Here, Dr. Zaid honed her surgical skills, gained
extensive clinical experience, and continued her studies in alternative medicine.
She received numerous awards in her Residency program including "Best
Resident Research Presentation" for a study on the early diagnoses of Cervical
Cancer.

After graduating Phoenix Integrated Residency Program, Dr. Zaid founded
Women's Integrative Health in San Diego, California, practicing Obstetrics and
Gynecology. She has been a pioneer in Integrative Medicine in North County San
Diego, being the first to introduce Hypnosis for Childbirth and popularize natural
therapies for menopause.

Dr. Zaid is a Board Certified Physician and Surgeon by the American Board of
Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is a member in good standing of the California
Medical Association and the San Diego County Medical Association.

Because Dr. Zaid has had great success in providing alternative therapies for
women's healthcare, she has decided to extend her influence to the web so that
she may help many more women. She enjoys speaking and has appeared on
numerous networks, including ABC, NBC and CBS.
